What is eGiving ?
eGiving gives you the opportunity to establish a more interactive relationship with Hôpital Sacré Coeur and The CRUDEM Foundation -- to make an online contribution or series of contributions, to get newsletters, to access volunteer information, to obtain other up-to-date news, or to communicate directly with management.
eGiving through www.crudem.org is managed by The CRUDEM Foundation and is supported by trained individuals in the organization who have the knowledge and ability to respond to your concerns.
eGiving exists under an established set of mandatory, regulatory guidelines for users.. These guidelines are designed to protect the individual Donor - you.
eGiving has a comprehensive security framework. Each individual who elects to complete a USER PROFILE (required for credit/debit card funding) will go through a screening process. This process is integrated with leading authentication and personal ID verification systems, as well as fraud, ID theft and money laundering data bases.
eGiving guarantees your Privacy: All of your information is stored in a secure, private central database. The only data exchanges in which The CRUDEM Foundation can participate are those that require processing a donation you make or those required by law , eg., consumer fraud, ID theft, or money laundering. Your information will not be made available to marketing groups of any kind.
eGiving through www.crudem.org gives you the option to designate one or more of the following ways to give: Electronic Check, Credit Card and/or Debit Card.
For Your Information: We know that credit card and debit card giving are very convenient. However, they are the most expensive for The CRUDEM Foundation - processing costs associated with each donation are borne by The CRUDEM Foundation as a net reduction in funds collected. Credit Card Companies and Merchant Banks usually charge a fixed fee of $0.10 to $0.25 per transaction plus 2.00% to 3.50% of dollars donated.
Electronic Checks are the least expensive way to donate. They usually have only a fixed fee equal to or less than the cost of a postage stamp.
An Electronic Check is a pre-authorized charge to a bank account of your choosing. To initiate an Electronic Check you need your bank account number and the bank�s ABA routing number (found in the lower left corner of any check for the account you decide to transfer from).
Electronic Checks are a great way to give if you want to give a recurring donation at a pre-set amount over an interval of time
Instructions for eGiving Account Setup:
- Click on the button "Create eGiving Account"
- "Account Application" page appears. Complete all required Information in your USER PROFILE. Note: if you make any mistakes or omissions, the system will notify you.
- Now your account is accessible through your personalized USER NAME and PASSWORD (please make note of your Password; if you forget it, you may reset your password yourself by answering the authorization query you established in your account profile. If you forgot the answer to this query, you will need to call The CRUDEM Foundation office to set up a new one..)
- Select a Payment Option -- you can:
- store one or more payment options (Electronic Check, Credit Card, Debit Card) to use any time you want -- OR --
- re-enter the information each time you make a gift. If this is your preference, do not enter the �funding source� in your USER PROFILE.
